Configurators on Shoptet can serve almost any purpose. In this case the tool defines the dimensions and angles of a metal sheet for a specific use. The required values are set through parameters in the product description.

Based on these values, the script generates a table where individual angles and surfaces can be edited.

Whenever a value changes, the system instantly recalculates the length used and the price — the things customers care about most. They see both the price and the amount of material right away.

The configurator also supports various limits, for example:

- Angles must not exceed 180°
- The total length must not exceed 6000 mm
- Any other custom limit
